Inside The Tasteless Brand

Know your
ingredients.

We believe food shouldn't need a complicated explanation. So we start with something simple — telling you exactly what's inside.

Our philosophy

Every ingredient has a reason.

We don't build products by adding ingredients just to make a longer label. We start with the food, understand what it naturally provides, and build around a clear nutritional purpose.

What's inside

Four ingredients.
Different purposes.

Our current range is built around roasted black chickpea, roasted Bengal gram sattu, soy protein isolate and roasted cumin. Here's what each one brings to the table.

01 / THE BASE

Roasted
Black Chickpea

Cicer arietinum

The foundation of PRO-20 Sattu. Black chickpea is a traditional pulse used across Indian diets and provides a combination of protein, carbohydrate, dietary fibre and naturally occurring micronutrients.

Why is it here?

Because traditional food can already do a lot. Roasting and milling the chickpea creates the familiar sattu format while retaining its nutritional character.

Plant Protein

Chickpeas contribute plant-based protein, providing amino acids as part of the overall diet.

Dietary Fibre

Chickpeas naturally contain dietary fibre, which contributes to normal digestive function.

Carbohydrates

A substantial part of chickpea's nutritional profile comes from carbohydrates, which provide dietary energy.

Minerals

Chickpeas contain naturally occurring minerals, including magnesium, iron, zinc and potassium.

02 / THE TRADITION

Roasted
Bengal Gram Sattu

Cicer arietinum

Bengal gram sattu is the traditional backbone of PRO-50. It brings the familiar roasted pulse character while contributing protein, carbohydrate and dietary fibre.

Why is it here?

Because upgrading a familiar food doesn't mean removing what makes it familiar. The roasted Bengal gram remains at the heart of PRO-50.

Traditional Food

Sattu has a long history in Indian food culture and can be used in drinks, meals and recipes.

Plant Protein

Bengal gram contributes plant-based protein to the formulation.

Fibre

The pulse contributes dietary fibre as part of the overall nutritional profile.

Food-Based Nutrition

Unlike a single-purpose protein ingredient, sattu contributes several macronutrients to the diet.

03 / THE PROTEIN

Soy Protein
Isolate

Derived from soybeans

Soy protein isolate is the concentrated protein ingredient used in PRO-50 and the primary ingredient in PRO-90. It allows us to increase protein density without relying on a long list of additional ingredients.

Why is it here?

Protein is the defining purpose of PRO-50 and PRO-90. Soy protein provides a concentrated plant-based protein source and contains all nine essential amino acids.

High Protein Density

Isolating the protein fraction of soy allows a much higher protein concentration than the whole soybean.

Complete Protein

Soy protein contains all nine essential amino acids, which the body cannot make in sufficient amounts.

Plant-Based

Soy provides a plant-based way to increase dietary protein intake.

Versatile

It can be mixed into beverages, shakes, smoothies, oats and other foods.

04 / THE FLAVOUR

Roasted
Cumin

Cuminum cyminum

Roasted cumin gives PRO-50 Jeera Sattu its distinctive earthy, warm flavour. It is a culinary spice first — used to make the traditional sattu experience more familiar and enjoyable.

Why is it here?

Because nutrition doesn't have to mean giving up flavour. We use roasted cumin to create the Jeera version without turning it into a complicated flavoured powder.

Traditional Spice

Cumin is widely used in Indian cooking and pairs naturally with savoury sattu preparations.

Distinctive Aroma

Cumin's volatile compounds contribute its familiar warm, earthy aroma and flavour.

Natural Phytochemicals

Cumin contains compounds such as cuminaldehyde and other plant phytochemicals studied for antioxidant activity.

Used for Flavour

Its primary role in our Jeera formulation is culinary: bringing flavour from a familiar whole spice.

Why we keep it simple

Less noise.
More clarity.

A product doesn't become better because its ingredient list becomes longer. We prefer ingredients that have a clear purpose and formulations that can be explained without complicated marketing language.

01 — Know the ingredient

You should be able to understand what you're putting into your food.

02 — Know the purpose

Every ingredient should have a reason for being there — nutritional, culinary or functional.

03 — Read the label

Don't take a brand's word for it. Look at the ingredients, nutrition panel and actual composition.

The Tasteless Brand

Food shouldn't need
secrets.

We would rather show you exactly what's inside than hide behind complicated claims.
